Media with Drupal

Mediahandling in Drupal (6) is like hell.
There are OOTB-solutions, but if you just wan't one change or one featured added, you have to hack modules.
After trial and error, some self hacked modules and stuff i came back to the basics: cck, views and some supporting modules, and gonna show to implement a great looking and flexible, node based multimedia-handling solution with (nearly) no code.
